Maple magic...........early colors on the Patch

Sugar maples are staging a coming out party at Mance. Suzanne and I attended September 21-23. The color is early (although it has been 26 degrees) and for the moment, does not appear to be spoiled by the drought.

Visit to the Daileys of Delmar

September 14-16 found Suzanne, Dave and Tululah trekking north to Delmar, NY to visit little James (now a robust 10lbs), Patrick, Robin and Dr. Mike. It was a typical Snyder trip with a quick turnaround. We packed in a delightful day and a half, with train watching, farm familiarization, soccer totting, and much more. Tululah punctuated the visit when she commandeered a neighbor's car (she thought we had abandoned her) and would not let anyone inside.

Our timing on the trip home allowed a respite in Oneonta, NY where a "Brooks'" lunch was enjoyed
