Laura, Lindsay, Sophie and Charlie ventured south to Virginia Beach to see Paul and Sue, then on to Manassas with the requisite trips to Air and Space, Smithsonian (how appropriate) et al.

A view near the Post Office on 2/22/09. THe HEAVY snow lasted about 20" and produced about an inch. The biggest "storm" at 2000' elevation (Mance) has been about 5". What a shame!

Not exactly, but our neighbor three doors up will need one; their chimney fire ignited the shake shingle roof
